We are looking for an Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology team in Malta. This is a hands-on role focused on building, maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure while supporting development teams with reliable and efficient deployment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build, configure and maintain infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.
  • Support production, staging and development environments.
  • Improve cloud platform reliability, scalability and performance.
  • Manage Azure services including App Service, Virtual Machines, Storage, networking and identity.
  • Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Work with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or similar tools.
  • Maintain monitoring, logging and alerting across cloud environments.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking and deployment issues.
  • Implement cloud security practices including access controls, secrets management and secure networking.
  • Support incident investigation and root-cause analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for cloud optimisation and automation.

Requirements

  • Around 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in a Cloud, Infrastructure, Systems or DevOps position.
  • Good knowledge of core Azure services and Docker.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar.
  • Exposure to Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates or another Infrastructure as Code tool.
  • Understanding of networking concepts including VNets, subnets, DNS, firewalls and routing.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging and troubleshooting cloud environments.
  • Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management.
  • Experience supporting production environments.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working closely with software development teams.

Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Key Vault, private endpoints and managed identities would be considered an advantage.
